Jekyll

James Nesbitt

I’ll be honest, a miniseries called ‘Jekyll’ is not something I’d normally expect to see toward the top of my Netflix queue. But thanks to some spare time on my hands and a recommendation from a friend, I was hooked and streamed through all 6 episodes in a couple of days.

Great storytelling, great use of misdirection in the writing, and James Nesbitt is *fantastic*. Highly recommended.

Welcome to Night Flight.

Today’s blast of nostalgia from Metafilter? Night Flight. Oh, how I loved this show – hanging late with friends and watching the funky shorts, videos and movies. And miracle of miracles, you can get recordings of the show from this enthusiast! I want the whole set. And a calzone from Mt. Etna pizza on El Cajon Blvd.

Here’s another Night Flight tribute site (abandoned?) and a Night Flight Yahoo group.
